Detailed description is Retired horses are our business–our only business!!! Our purpose at FMNERC is to provide a healthy, safe home for horses retired due to injury, disease or just "old age" at an affordable rate.
Here the horses are not just "put out to pasture"..

All horses have diets and feeding schedules designed specifically to meet their needs-such as Cushings disease, digestive disorders or poor teeth..

All turnouts and pastures have shelters and each horse has its own stall with windows.
Horses are out as much as possible depending on weather-daylight in winter and at night in the summer.
On days of inclement weather or for those with health issues we turn out in the indoor arena for exercise.
Exercise lots are provided for those not able to be on pasture..
