Although I myself was never served in the military myself, my immediate family memebers and family members from generations past have. The concept of putting this page and program together started from a friends request to do a the painting pictured here "For Freedom". When I started this painting I was just doing a friend a favor to paint this for a fundraiser she was putting together for "Support Our Troop". The painting was put in a live auction and was sold for thousands of dollars. All that money went to "Support Our Troops". . The thing is, I thought I was just going to through a quick painting together and complete my favor. Little did I know what effect it would have on me and the vision that was born from it. This page it to take everyone through that journey, bring public awareness to the struggles our troops and vets face, and most importantly to raise additional funds to support the great non profit organization
