Detailed description is Founded in 1982, the SOAHS is one of three health professional schools at FAMU.
The school was established in recognition of the need to provide access to quality education in a group of raidly growing health professions.
The school is divided into five divisions offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
These include Bachelor’s degrees in the areas of Cardiopulmonary Science, Health Care Management, Health Informatics & Information Management, Health Science/Pre-Physical Therapy, and Health Science/Pre-Occupation & Wellness.
There are also 3 graduate programs providing the Masters in both Health Services Administration and Occupational Therapy and the Doctor of Physical Therapy.
