Francesco Chiarello, classe 1985, si avvicina assiduamente al mondo della fotografia nel 2011, salvo poi scoprirsi unico erede della grande passione del nonno paterno. Ritrova, quasi per caso, sepolta in un cassetto, e da quel momento inizia a custodire gelosamente, una vecchia macchina fotografica, unica prova che ad accomunarli, oltre il nome, c’era la grande ambizione di guardare il mondo da un mirino.. . È poco più di un ragazzino quando inizia ad utilizzare macchine usa e getta per portare a casa dai suoi viaggi scolastici carovane di immagini da mostrare alla sua famiglia: angoli di strada, frammenti di cielo, sprazzi di vita quotidiana. Ricorda ancora quando il papà, scorrendo quelle foto, scherzosamente, lo rimproverò di non essersi ritratto in nessuna di esse, preferendo, invece, raccontare quanto lo circondava.. . Nel 2011, dopo aver acquistato la sua prima reflex, frequenta un corso di fotografia con il precipuo interesse di imparare ad sfruttare tutte le potenzialità della sua macchina.. .
