Detailed description is 'Farmer & The Scientist' aim to share our handcrafted wines, bought to you through our online store. Our love affair with viticulture and wine began years ago when a farmer (Brian) and a then environmental science student (Jess) met and came to the Heathcote area to start a life together. The beginnings involved vineyard construction, contract working in vineyards whilst at uni and vineyard operator jobs. From there Brian moved his way into supervising the bloom of a 1,000 acre vineyard for Southcorp Wines. For the years after, on went the vineyard and winery positions whilst all the while collecting knowledge and advice. Over this time we have harbored the dream of producing our own wine grapes and eventually wine.
