Our Kitchen is your kitchen| اهلا بيكم فى حكاية طبق. شاركونا بحكايات طبق كل واحد فيكم. مطبخنا هو مطبخكم. فيري حكاية طبق . . طبق ميلامين لونه ابيض وعليه ورد ازرق، شفته في البيت أول يوم رمضان اللي فات وفيه قطايف محشية جبنه .سألت ماما إيه الطبق ده ؟ قالت لي هاخده لجرتنا أم عاطف اعيد عليها. لف الطبق ورجع بعد اسبوع وفيه بسبوسة بالقشطة. عدى رمضان و على العيد شفت نفس الطبق نازل معانا و مليان كحك بالسكر عشان صاحبة ماما طنط صباح اللى جية زيارة من لبنان. و على راس السنة لقيت الطبق رجعلنا بديك رومى بتاع عيد الميلاد. فضل الطبق يلف سنة كاملة شايل عاداتنا و تقاليدنا، اعيادنا و مناسبتنا، اكلات مختلفة من موروثاتنا بنشاركها مع بعض و معانى جميلة بين الجيران و الاصحاب. هى ديه حكاية طبقنا ، خلونا من خلال الصفخة ديه نشارك حكاية طبق كل واحدة فينا.... تابعونا في صفحه فيري وشاركونا بحكايات طبق كل واحدة فيكم ... مستنيكم;-). . . About Fairy Story Of A Plate. . The first time I saw it on the first day of the Holy month of Ramadan; the blue floral- patterned plate was loaded with cheese-stuffed katayaf; “It’s for our neighbor Om Atef “, my mom answered my unuttered question she saw in my eyes. The next day it came back with a delicious piece of Basbousa & Keshta . Since then, the plate kept moving around among the neighbors carrying different kinds of Ramadan delicacies. when Eid El Fitr was around the corner, the Ka’3k filled plate is getting ready to pay a visit to my Aunt Sabah, a Lebanese friend of mom who’s spending the Eid vacation in Cairo, and before I knew it came back with the delicious Christmas roasted turkey. The plate kept going back and forth all year round not only carrying our favorite meals, but also our most cherished traditions of love, care and sharing that unite all Egyptians, Lebanese and Arabs during all occasions..
