Having begun my photography journey using a film SLR camera back in grade school, I have a fondness for the oldschool black and white style, and part of me will always feel nostalgic towards my darkroom days.
However, what would life be, without color? I have also grown to love our digital medium, and the ease with which it allows us to share our treasured moments that really should be seen and enjoyed by many.
This is another balance I strive to achieve in my work - the mixture of the black and white with the color.
Certain elements are better captured one way or the other, and certain elements turn out beautifully in either format.
While I certainly have my own preference, it's my job to provide both, so that you can get the full spectrum and what suits your tastes the best.
