Entrepreneurship is NOT just for business owners and operators; it's for anyone with an idea that can be turned into a business.
The CFE will be collaborating with other universities in our region to shed light on the brilliance that already exists in our community.

Each year we host two Pitch Competitions that lead up to the main Eagle's Nest Competition in Spring.You can present individually or in a team with up to 4 members.
Both Pitch Contest's are a preliminary to be qualified for the main Eagle Nest Competition that awards $5000 to the top 3 winners.

At the Pitch Contest you will present your idea to as many judges as you can through a 1-3 minute pitch.
After each pitch the judges will give you a rating card.
At the end of the pitch contest you will turn in your top 5 rating cards to be considered for the final competition.

The top 8 teams selected will present in the final Eagle's Nest Competition.
You will present on stage for five minutes with a five minute question and answer portion from the judges.
Prizes and valuable information will be awarded to all entrants as they compete to win.
The top 3 finalist will be awarded $5000 to split.

We will also be hosting the Annual Entrepreneur of the Year breakfast on March 8, 2018.
We will be awarding the Entrepreneur of the Year and other fun community awards.
Guest speakers will be announced before the breakfast.
