Detailed description is Prop fabrication, make-up, and practical fx. Being artistic and using what materials are available, whether it be regular make-up, household items, up-cycling, re-purposing, has been in my family for generations. I have always loved and been astounded by the amazing things people can do with sheer ingenuity. The simplicity of pulling off an effect with next to nothing. Being able to be someone completely different through almost unbelievable transformations. I enjoy the novelty of the "master of disguise". My love of Halloween and being able to transform into something or someone else. Almost always at a low cost.. . Over the years I have started to document some of the make-up transformations I've made for myself, my family, and friends. It wasn't until I met my good friends at Dead Lantern Productions in 2011, when I submitted an online audition for their full length film "Isabelle" along with pictures of previous make-up work, that I fully realized the potential of my little "fx work" here and there.. . After becoming the Principal FX Lead for the remainder of the film in September 2012, I quickly had to change from a "learning" mode to a "guru" as they keep lovingly make reference to me. Because of my early learning stages, I work within my means, time, and the productions budget. You will be amazed at what you can do with some cotton balls, latex, and hot glue.. . This also brought about working on Dead Lantern's Shivers Down Your Spine film shorts "A Bad Heart" and "Midnight Kiss", with many more to come. Not only have I worked on make-up and practical fx for Dead Lantern, but I also designed a postcard prop for Midnight Fright's film short "Killer Con 2012". I also have been in communication with the director of Midnight Frights full length film "Remission" for custom prop work.. . I absolutely adore my new film family and it keeps growing bigger and bigger with each new cast member I meet. I am more than ecstatic for the opportunities and doors this has opened for me and look forward to learning and practicing new skills.. .
