Our Christmas trees are locally grown and owned Both Fred and I (Kimberly) were raised in Calvert County.
Fred went to Northern High and I went to Calvert High.
When Fred and I started dating the idea of a Christmas Tree Farm had already taken root in his mind.

He told me how the idea came to him.
One day he was out with his best friends looking for a Christmas tree with their kids.
They pulled up to a Choose and Cut Christmas tree farm and saw an older man sitting on the back of his pickup truck, with a roll of bailing twine, and collecting money.
He thought to himself “I can do that and I have just enough space behind my house”..

Fred spent a lot of time on his Uncle's Farm and has always enjoyed farming and this was a way to incorporate it into his life.
I believe, like him, Christmas trees bring those memories of family and the feeling of togetherness that you feel when you’re young..

We love how the event brings families together.
Whether it is an old tradition or a new one, everyone can be involved; from picking the tree, to cutting it down, to decorating it, and the enjoyment you share with family and friends.

My favorite part of a real tree is the smell and how it can evoke memories of Christmas with my family growing up.
We still spend Christmas together but everyone has their own families and live in different states.
The smell of a real tree brings back the memory of my parents, my sister, and my brothers all around the tree talking, laughing, and the excitement the season brings..

So here we are seven years later and many days spent in the field; planting, sheering, watering, pulling trees that didn't make it, and replanting, all around our full time jobs.
