Detailed description is Evergreen Acres has been a part of Clearwater since 1976. The Society continues to add on and make improvements for Independent Seniors over the age of 55. Evergreen Acres Housing is a place for independent seniors to live. The buildings started in 1976 with the Main building housing 16 apartments. It then later expanded in 1984 with the addition of 6 suites called the Annex. Our last set of building was completed in 2010 called Ed Buck Manor, all these buildings are on the same property but separated from each other.. Our mission statement is to "Provide Safe Affordable Housing " for seniors. The volunteer Board looks after the operations of the four buildings including maintenance of them and the grounds. Seniors look after their own apartments. The volunteer Board provides staffing for the Office and the yard maintenance.
