Cuanalo concibió el sueño de crear una escuela de arte diferente y mejor que todas las disponibles en aquel entonces, una donde se estudiará científicamente el fenómeno artístico y donde los futuros artistas de todas las disciplinas estudiaran juntos, compartiendo una misma historia y, sobre todo, un mismo lenguaje teórico que les permitiera romper todas las barreras que hasta entonces habían venido separando a las artes unas de otras.
Desde 1995, se suma Mtra.
Martha Soto a un viaje por Asia, Europa y America analizando las escuelas de arte.
En 2000, ya en Tijuana, se suma Dra.
Cristina Cuanalo al esfuerzo de diseño curricular.
