Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOPS) is a state funded support services program. It is designed to assist low-income and educationally disadvantage students achieve their educational gaols through a college education. . Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) is under the umbrella of EOPS. It provides services to single Heads of Household, with at least one child under the age of 14 and current TANF recipients.. . . . To become eligible for EOPS you must have the following:. * BOGW eligible: A or B. * Full-time (12 units). * California resident. * Have completed less than 40 degree applicable units. * Educationally disadvantage . . How Do I Qualify for CARE/EOPS?. * BOGW eligible: A. * Full-time (12 units) Fall or Spring Term. * Full time (4 units) Summer Term. * California resident. * Considered single head of household. * Cash aid recipient (or) child is on cash aid. * Have at least one child under the age of 14 . * Have completed less than 70 degree applicable units. * Be educationally disadvantage . .
