Detailed description is Ember's Little Red Labs is the place to come if you're looking for a new best friend! We love our dogs and know you will too! Background information about me, Amanda, the owner. I always had a dream that I would be a dog breeder one day. Today, I am living out that dream! I have one female, Ember, and one male, Rusty. They are both Fox Red Labrador Retrievers. This will both be Ember's and Rusty's 1st litter. I grew up breeding Jack Russell's and this will be my 5th litter of puppies in total. I am so excited. These dogs aren't just pets, they are my family. We have no human children, so these are our kids! We aren't breeding just to make a quick buck, we are breeding to expand the genetic diversity of the tight niche Red Lab community. I would not consider myself a "Backyard Breeder" either as I have a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and know what I am doing. My passion for animals, especially dogs, is something I want to share with future puppy owners. My goal is to create the best puppies I possibly can by making sure the parents are tested for genetic diseases such as Hip & Elbow Dysplasia, EIC (Exercise-Induced Collapse), and PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy). I will also perform mini activities called the Puppy Temperament Test and do my best to place a more dominant puppy in a working home, and a laid back puppy with a family that is looking for that type of dog. I love my dogs and I know you will too!
