Surge de la idea de un equipo donde todas las integrantes tengan "una oportunidad".. Elefantes Rosas es un club de Flag Football Femenil creado por jugadoras en Enero del 2012. Surge de la idea de un equipo donde todas las integrantes tengan "una oportunidad" para demostrar de qué están hechas, brindarles la confianza y, a la vez, responsabilidad de entrar al campo. Que todas las jugadoras tengan tiempo de juego y haya en la estrategia mucha frescura, creatividad, junto con la tradición y la disciplina que este deporte implica desde que existe. El nombre se elige al conocer la historia de un equipo de Tijuana de los años 80's, que era practicamente invencible y se creó con la finalidad de callar bocas en aquel tiempo. . . El equipo cuenta actualmente con 35 jugadoras activas, de las cuales hay estudiantes de secundaria, preparatoria, universidad, amas de casa y trabajadoras. Hay 7 coaches, entre los cuales hay 2 que son jugadoras del equipo, las fundadoras. Al ser club y no perseguir fines de lucro, el Gobierno le presta a los Elefantes Rosas 2 lugares para entrenar: el Campo Reforma y el CREA. Es un equipo que conoce el significado del trabajo en equipo, se confía en la jugadora de la izquierda y de la derecha en todo momento.. . ¡En cada partido se presenta la estampida rosa
