Ray Symons Centre is a large multi purpose hall surrounded by native gardens. Detailed plans have been drawn up for a new school to be built on the site and stage one is well on the way. When completed the new school will be a state-of-the-art educational facility - and Eastwood will be an even more valuable asset to the community. . . Eastwood is home to the first Primary Deaf Facility of its kind established in Victoria in 1992. Deaf and hard of hearing pupils attend the facility, in a full intergrated setting designed to meet the needs of the individual student.
