Detailed description is Moonlight Movies will be held on Friday nights downtown throughout the summer. Start time is always at sunset. Free to all! Outdoor movies are coming to Eastport's Overland Park Amphitheater starting in June. Located downtown, the granite amphitheater faces the water along the seawall walkway. It is one of only two such venues to be located right on the water's edge on the coast of Maine. Sponsors Sweeties Downeast and R&M IGA, banded together to bring a new source of entertainment for a community they love. Eastport's city council will provide insurance for the outdoor showings. The USCG Station of Eastport graciously handles set up and take down each week. . . Movies will be shown every Friday night, weather permitting, starting in June 2017 and running through Labor Day weekend Saturday is rain day. Movies are free to everyone. Start time each week occurs at sunset.
