We are a volunteer group that works to provide you the best emergency medical services in East Boise County.
We were established as an ambulance taxing district on November 2nd, 1987.
At that time, four individual organizations joined together under one organization now known as the East Boise County Ambulance District.

EBCAD is tasked by our county commissioners with providing quality emergency medical services in the eastern part of Boise County.
EBCAD currently operates four ambulances: Unit 12 in Lowman, Unit 13 in Placerville, Unit 14 in Idaho City and Unit 15 Mores Creek .
The EBCAD operational area roughly extends from the Lucky Peak Reservoir high bridge to the south, then along the Boise front to Harris Creek, Placerville, and Adler Creek to the west, A portion of Hwy 17, to Hwy 21 through Lowman to the county line to the north and then south again following the county line back to the high bridge at Lucky Peak Reservoir..
