Lisa Taylor Cook and Joanne Baham, the co-owners of Early Childhood Theory 2 Practice Professional Development, met in a graduate school class at Texas Woman's University in the summer of 2011.
Once paired together on a project, they realized that they shared a love of the early childhood field and recognized the need to turn developmental theory into real life practice in the classroom.
Additionally, the owners recognized a need for increased professional development opportunities south of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Thus, Early Childhood Theory 2 Practice Professional Development was born.
