Since graduating from Cornell College in 2007 with a BA in Theatre Arts and Computer Science, I have spent my entire career in the technology industry. In 2009, I was introduced to Scrum while testing on a software development team at Intermec Technologies and was immediately impressed by the results that can come from changing the way you do things and asking if it made you better. In 2010, I moved into the role of Scrum Master and Project Manager for that same team.. . ​After proving to be successful in guiding my first team to significant results through Scrum, the company I was working for at the time recognized me as one of two Agile Coaches for the entire site. In that role, I continued to introduce new teams to Agile, specifically Scrum, and coach them through a successful transition to the framework.. . Over the years, I have continued to train and coach teams in various companies, including Honeywell Scanning and Mobility, to adopt Agile with an emphasis in Scrum. Most recently, I filled the role of advising, coaching, and guiding executive leadership of TaxAct in the enterprise-wide adoption of Scrum. This included taking steps to adopt Large Scale Scrum (LeSS).. . After many successful years in coaching within organizations, I moved to consulting companies in process optimization, Agile adoption, Scrum transitions, productivity improvements, and project management methodologies.
