The Duke Ellington School of the Arts Modernization project will transform the historic 1898 building into a world-class student facility.
The completed project will balance selective restoration of the original structure and incorporation of new, smarter spaces housing the latest technology for the students.
The project is managed by DC PEP for the Department of General Services and is being realized by the design-builder GCS | SIGAL LLC and architects Lance Bailey & Associates Inc.
