A native Louisianan, Dr. Procell attended Northeast Louisiana University for his undergraduate studies and then went to Louisiana State University in New Orleans for his advanced dental degree. Both he and his staff have extensive post graduate studies in all fields of General Dentistry. Dr. Procell and his staff strive to provide quality esthetics and functional dentistry while making patient comfort a top priority. For reluctant patients having anxiety about dental visits, Dr. Procell offers conscious sedation that will insure a relaxed and comfortable experience. Through continuing education, Dr. Procell is delighted to provide enhanced smile make overs utilizing the new smile shaded materials and techniques. For over 20 years, Dr. Procell has also practiced implant dentistry to restore smiles and chewing for many of his patients. Treatment for his patients include: white bonded fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, partials, implants, implant retained dentures, root canals, and oral surgery. Also through continuing education, Dr. Procell now offers Botox and Juvederm injectable gel. Dr. Procell is a charter member and serves on the board of Ark-La-Tex Academy of Continuing Dental Education. Established in 1984, the academy is dedicated to bringing the top national dental educators to Shreveport to present their courses. Over 50 Hours of instruction is provided annually by the academy to the 100 plus members. In addition to the Ark-La-Tex, Dr. Procell is also a member of the Louisiana Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentisty, and the American Dental Association. Marcia Copeland is the office manager with 32 years experience in the dental field. She also holds a license in expanded duty dental assistant.
