What is “DO the BREW”? Downtown “Do the Brew is a craft beer tasting event featuring over 100 different craft beers from more than 40 different local, regional and national breweries.
The purpose of the event is to bring the unique tastes of craft beers to Hastings area residents and raise money for local Non-Profits.
Only 1000 tickets will be sold to this year’s event.
This is a 21 and over event!.

This years event will take place outside at the corner of 1st & St.
Joseph Ave in Downtown Hastings.
Rain location will be at the Hastings City Auditorium.

Where can I buy tickets? Tickets are $25.00 in advance or $30.00 at the gate and can be purchased at the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce, Murphy’s Wagon Wheel, WineStyles, First Street Brewing Co.

What’s included with the ticket price? Your ticket includes admission to the event, a commemorative “DO the BREW” tasting glass and three hours of craft beer tasting.

NEW IN 2017 is the VIP Ticket!! This includes an extra hour of tasting starting at 4:00pm, a private tour of First Street Brewing Co, a FULL pint glass to drink during the tour (you take home the glass), food samplings which have been made or paired with good brews, a "DO the BREW" T-shirt, a commemorative "DO the BREW" tasting glass, don't forget that extra hour of tastings before the general admission group is allowed in AND 1 free meal ticket from one of our local food vendors! .

Will there be food at the event? Yes, local food vendors will be on hand and food will be sold at an additional cost..

I don’t like beer; will there be wine at the event? WHAT – YOU DON’T LIKE BEER? While that is hard to imagine….we will have water and soda available for you.

What are the event times? VIP ticket will get you in at 4:00pm.
General Admission gates open at 5:00 p.m.
and beer tastings will stop at 8:00 p.m.

Who receives the proceeds from this event? Proceeds from this event go to help fund local Non-Profits who help grow other great Hastings events.

Are children or infants allowed into the event? No one under the age of 21 will be allowed into the event! This includes designated drivers who must be at least 21 years of age.
No infants, toddlers or children are permitted.
A valid photo ID must be presented at the front door to enter..

• Don’t Drink & Drive – get a ride or designate a driver.
• Promotional photos and video will be taken at this event and you grant permission for your likeness to be used..

• No outside drinks or food allowed..
• Ticket holders will receive one souvenir glass for this event.
Replacements (if available) are $6.00 each..
• “DO the BREW” reserves the right, at our discretion, to remove any individual (s) from the event for inappropriate behavior.
