Detailed description is Remote fishing destination located on The Prince of Wales Island in Thorne Bay, Alaska The Double H Lodge is a floating wonder nestled in a cove east of the town of Thorne Bay, Alaska. We are truly remote, but, still enjoy many of the amenities that you have in your own home. . Our cabins are furnished with most of what you will need during your stay. The kitchen has pots, pans, dishes and all the basics. We do not provide food, but, the local market is well stocked and easy to get to.. The fishing is self-guided so you can fish at your leisure. Where you want, when you want and as long as you want. . Our lodge has a 14kw generator so we have power on demand.. When it gets too late to fish, we have a great lounging area in the lodge to shoot pool or just sit by the fire and tell fish stories.. We are remote so here is how you find us, from Seattle, WA, fly to Ketchikan, AK and you will find the float plane terminals in the airport. The fastest was is to take a float plane to Thorne Bay. There is also a ferry that runs from Ketchikan to Hollis. When you make your reservations, we will assist you in the most efficient way to get here!.
