Returning home from college in 2001, Joel Harris settled into Portsmouth, New Hapshire. While his new home provided a diversitty of retaurants to chose from he found himself sorely missing the many burrito and taqueria restaurants that surrounded his campus at college. Deciding that Portsmouth needed a great burrito shop he partnered with friend Jay McSharry, owner of other great Portsmouth restaurants including Jumpin' Jay's Fish Café and Moxy, to create Dos Amigos Burritos. . . The success of our Portsmouth location in 2003 lead to new stores being opened in Dover (May 2005), Concord (May 2007), Rochester (August 2010), and Manchester (September 2011). With five locations across New Hapshire, Dos Amigos is just beginning to write its own history.
