It is the "Michigan Model" and was built between 1930 and 1940 for Herbert Tollas who owned the Pharmacy in Sawyer Michigan. Latter the late Stan and Virginia Schlipp purchased the business.. . After closing the Pharmacy in 2011, the Schlipp family decided to sell this historic piece of americana to the Hesston Steam Museum, at a greatly discounted price, where it is to be the center piece of our new cafe and restroom building.
