Detailed description is Homemade fried pies and whole pies and homecooking. We are a small gas station and cafe. Been in business for over 30 years. Family owned and operated. Dixie Roberts is the owner of Dixie's Little Stop. It opened in 1982 as J's Little Stop and about 13 years ago, Dixie changed it to Dixie's Little Stop. We are now located on Business 31 in Mt. Calm, thanks to the bypass of Hwy 31. We have daily specials Monday through Friday. Every Thursday its homeade chicken and dumplings. The fried pies were created about 30 years ago and in 2007, they were recognized by the Texas House of Representatives as being the finest fried pies in the state.
