Detailed description is Dinosaur World was a small theme park located off the Midland Highway in Creswick, Victoria, Australia. It operated from 1982 to 2002.HistoryDinosaur World was a four hectare Fun Park situated amongst 18 acres of natural bushland and offers 18 life-size dinosaur models, native wildlife, a barbecue area, extensive playground including trampolines, swings and slides and a natural history museum.Originally it was open every day except Christmas Day from 10am to 6pm. Opening admissions were $1.50 Adults, 60c Children and $1 Pensioners. Later it was open every day except Wednesdays and Christmas Day from 10am to 5pm. It was open every day during the school holidays, and admission cost $5.50 per person.The park was originally owned and operated by Bill and Stephanie Myers. Bill designed and built the dinosaurs himself. The park operated for 20 years before its most recent owner, Keah Otto, was forced to close its doors in 2002.
