Detailed description is Di Barrò è una piccola azienda vitivinicola a gestione familiare che ha sede a Château Feuillet. Il nome dell'azienda nel dialetto locale significa letteralmente "dai barili/dei barili".. I barrò sono dei barilotti di legno dalla forma caratteristica, della capacità di 46,250 litri che una volta venivano utilizzati in Valle d'Aosta per il trasferimento in cantina dell'uva spremuta a mano direttamente in vigna; i barrò erano quindi caricati su una carretta (gaillotta) e ugualmente potevano essere utilizzati per il trasporto del vino destinato alla vendita; in occasione di feste paesane si usava anche spillare direttamente il vino dai barrò che erano portati a spalla dagli uomini per sfoggiare la propria gagliardia.. La parola barrò costituisce anche un acronimo delle prime lettere dei cognomi BARmaz e ROssan, ex proprietari dell'azienda nonché suoceri dell'attuale titolare, che negli anni '60 proseguirono la coltivazione dei vigneti di famiglia, Conze (Conce secondo quanto scrive L.F. Gatta nel 1838 a proposito delle migliori regioni vinifere a Saint-Pierre) e Toule ubicati nella zona del monte Torrette.. Nel 1985 l'azienda Rossan Eugenia fu tra le prime a fregiarsi della denominazione di origine controllata Valle d'Aosta Torrette.. Il barrò appartiene alla tradizione vitivinicola valdostana, evoca momenti di festa e spensieratezza e riassume, come acronimo, le origini dell'azienda.. Dal 1994 l'azienda ha sede a Château Feuillet (Saint-Pierre) che fu acquistato con i fondi circostanti nel 1915 dalla famiglia Berthod; la titolare della cantina Di Barrò, Rini Elvira Stefania, ha quindi ereditato una parte di tali terreni dalla sua famiglia. Da una foto di inizio secolo si riesce a intravedere la coltivazione a vigneto di una parte dei terreni intorno al castello.. Le altre vigne si trovano in località Torrette (Torretta secondo quanto scrive L. F. Gatta nel 1838 a proposito delle migliori regioni vinifere a Saint-Pierre) Condemine, Montagnine e Boné di Saint-Pierre, Borne de Veyne (Masso di Vejna secondo quanto scrive L.F. Gatta nel 1838 a proposito delle migliori regioni vinifere a Villeneuve) e in località Champcognein a Aymavilles.
