Detailed description is I became a licensed Esthetician and independent NYR Consultant because I am passionate about skin care and the products we apply to our skin.
NYR Organic Products are Certified Organic unlike most other skin care and makeup products on the market today.

In 2007, I received my Esthetician license.
Since then, I have performed hundreds of facials, microdermabrasions and chemical peels at Couture Laser and Skin and Jordan Thomas Salon, both located in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
I chose this profession because I am passionate about educating people on the importance of using safe and effective ingredients on the skin.
Using pure, organic, non-chemical-laden products on our skin is vital; because our skin is our largest organ, and products placed on our skin are absorbed into our bloodstream very quickly..

This is scary: A new study from the Food and Drug Administration reported over 400 types of common lipstick, found in every makeup department from Walmart to Nordstrom contained lead! One of my clients was wearing lipstick that I could not remove.
When I asked her about it she explained that her lips were so thin that she always wore "long lasting lipstick” by a leading cosmetic company.
I asked her if she ever checked to see if her lipstick contained lead and she said, "No".
The shocking part of this is at that same time she was being treated for high levels of lead and neither she nor her doctors had any idea HOW she became contaminated with it! Lead was banned from paint in 1978 and from gasoline in 1991.
Why is it still in our lipstick????.

Being “in the business”, I really struggled with situations like this.
It bothered me that people came in to get their facials, microdermabrasion and other procedures to improve their skin, and then went home and applied harmful products to their fresh, highly absorbent skin.
So I researched and tried several skincare companies’ products to find safer alternatives.
