The Daniel Boone JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) was established late in the 2016 school year, after a petition by the student body.
Daniel Boone students felt a JROTC would provide them with challenges and growth, ultimately resulting in their betterment and preparation for life after high school.

With the JROTC pushing into its second year and gaining attention by the student body, faculty, and the local community, Cadets have learned the importance of many fundamental ideas that create healthy and productive relationships.
Some of these ideas include, teamwork to complete tasks, discipline to set the standard, camaraderie to ensure no Cadet is left behind, physical fitness to ensure a healthy style of living, community service to help those who are less fortunate, and leadership to ensure that the Cadets are able to take charge when time calls for it.
