Skolens historie strekker seg over 213 år, men nåværende, flotte skolebygning i Lillesandsveien ble tatt i bruk i 2006.
Skolen har ca 700 elever som fordeler seg på syv utdanningsprogrammer: Studiespesialiserende, helse- og sosialfag, service og samferdsel, elektrofag, teknikk og industriell produksjon, bygg- og anleggsteknikk og musikk, dans og drama..
