Kvetoslava Dedinská, the person responsible for the project of Design Academy, opened the exhibition of student works from Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology in 1993 in Lucenec, she started a series of events promoting design education for almost a decade.
Some of the students showcasing their designs have become recognized designers, they include: Rasto Celeda, Bjorn Kierluf, Etela Lucova and Simon Micurda.
During their studies they were supervised by their professors, namely by Doc.
