Detailed description is 24 years of retail experience, specializing in Dance, Figure Skating, Gymnastics, Clothing & Shoes!designer dancewear and more available ,economical wear Costumes N Designs by Heather opened in September of 1992, first located in Tilbury under the name of 'Crafts by Heather'.. . Heather got her beginning about five years earlier, in 1987, designing and fabricating custom fit wedding attire, including bridal gowns; fabricating kids clothing & costumes; fabricating heritage costumes and any other need a customer might have! . . After the establishment of Costumes N Designs in the town of Tilbury, Heather re-located her business to her home, where she had her beginning, and further expanded her inventory of Halloween costumes, exited from the wedding industry, and fully entered the world of Dance & Figure Skating! . . After about 12 years at home, Heather decided to move her business back to town, this time around, in Chatham. She used the opportunity to start stocking and selling dance shoes, including point shoes, as well as a more sophisticated selection of high end designer dancewear. . . Last year, Heather moved Costumes N Designs back to her home in order to offer a greater selection and to expand her fabrication abilities. Today, 80 % of her stocked apparel is made in Canada! . . In July of 2012 a new, second location of Costumes N Designs By Heather will be opening in Chatham, at the current Pure Dance Academy location. It will be called Costumes N Designs with operating hours 6 days per week, to be determined. A combined total of both locations' hours will be 6 days per week, 12 hours per day....that is service!. .
