Detailed description is We are a not for profit organization assembled of volunteer members working to to protect home owners rights The Connecticut Manufactured Home Owners Alliance is a not for profit organization consisting of mobile home owners that are actively involved in the effort to improve the laws and regulations related to living in Mobile homes and mobile home parks for the betterment of the residents and the park ownership or management. We seek to ensure the security of the home owner and their property, and provide assistance in the mediation of disputes and questions regarding the areas of responsibilities of both the home owner and the park ownership.. . We work with the Department of Consumer Protection of the State of Connecticut to try to resolve issues, change regulations and laws to provide more protection of the rights of the home owner. We are able to provide advice to the home owner related to the best way to dispute charges by the park ownership that are above the normal rental fees for the land where their homes reside, and suggest ways to do so without the potential for eviction from the parks which can be a devastating hardship for the home owner.
