A popular place for lessons & classes, and known for its fine acoustic concert space & dignified informality, the Community Music Center (CMC) is conveniently located in SE Portland. It is a program of Portland Parks & Recreation in partnership with nonprofit CMC, Inc. that has hosted affordable music lessons and concerts for all ages since 1955. Set in a converted historic firehouse, CMC is wheelchair accessible on main and upper floors.
