Kent McKinney, after attempts to hire Rob Stitt away from the Manhattan community to other banking jobs, recruited him to charter a bank in his home town.
Rob, along with fellow veteran bankers Kevin Wagner, Joanie Frakes and Debbie Knudsen, received a national bank charter and opened for business February 1, 2001.
Kent served as Chairman for the bank's first several years and continues to serve on the board of directors and is one of the bank's largest shareholders.
