Program (Recreational Opportunities for Cancer Kids.). . Each hospital has a Child Life Program. The program is designed to bring the children out of their rooms and into a common playroom to interact with other children. There are many provided games, toys, movies and other activities that help aid in passing the long hours of the day and night. For the children that are unable to leave their rooms, many activities are taken to them. Infants are provided items ranging from rocking chairs to baby swings, music mobiles, crib CD players and so much more.. .
