So, I ended up buying a sugar filled alternative for my breakfast, just great for my waistline! I kept thinking, it is not that hard to make something healthy, that tastes good! So, here we are. We are committed to detail with our café. A wooden stir for coffee, not plastic melting toxins as you stir. Homemade salad dressings over a healthy salad. What sense is there in ordering a healthy salad, then pouring preservatives and chemical enhancing flavors over it? We even try to keep plastics to a limit in our café. Making a fresh salad and storing it in a plastic container is unhealthy. Studies have now found that plastics permeate into our foods and drinks, if kept long enough in them. Our alternative was, back in time, to glass. We finally obtained chemical free chocolate, caramel and white chocolate sauces. Fruit Smoothies was simple, cut up FRESH FRUIT. Of course we offer baked goods, with some sugar, but that is not the main ingredient. We searched for a bakery that did not fry their bagels in lye, but only baked them. We also wanted breads baked fresh daily, without preservatives and flavor enhancements. We found LeBus Bakery from Philadelphia, each loaf of their bread is still hand-made. Our commitment to our customers is simple, great tasting products, without all of the chemicals, preservatives and flavor enhancing products used so readily in our country.
