The idea for the coffee shop came about through God’s bringing together several individuals who had a desire to open a coffee shop and share His love with their community. The coffee shop will offer a variety of activities for the community, including, but not limited to: music, inviting traveling missionaries in to talk about their missions, a place where Bible studies may be held, art lessons, community service through volunteerism, book clubs, educational video series, and community service referrals. The coffee shop is run by people from different churches but all have core beliefs in common: the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and is the final authority for faith and life. . The mission statement of Coffee Connection, Inc. is to be Christ’s witnesses as stated in Acts 1:8 which says “And you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” This will be accomplished by providing a safe environment in which to build relationships, listening to people’s needs and allowing the Word of God to speak. Thus administering to the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs locally and even to the ends of the earth. Any profit beyond the operating expenses for the coffee shop will go to mission groups. In addition to coffee flavored drinks Coffee Connection, Inc. also offers smoothies, teas, lemonades and baked goods. We serve lunch every Wednesday and Thursday. Sandwiches, wraps and salads in the spring and summer and fresh soups and rolls in the fall and winter.
