Desde 1989 com você A ARCO, Associação Recreativa dos Correios foi fundada em 05 de janeiro de 1989 com o objetivo de promover atividades sociais, culturais e esportivas para os associados.. . A Arco evoluiu muito e hoje é um grande patrimônio dos trabalhadores.. . O início foi muito difícil para a entidade, os poucos recursos não permitiam o investimento necessário para a promoção do bem estar e lazer dos sócios. Porém, o empenho dos que acreditavam na associação fez com que ela sobrevivesse.. . Naquele tempo, a ARCO fazia parcerias com outras entidades para a realização de eventos, pois não possuía sede própria.. . O clube da CELACAP, o Pandiá Calógeras e o SESI foram palcos de eventos. promovidos pela associação como a Copa ARCO, por exemplo. Em 1997, sob a administração do então Presidente Sinécio Jorge Greve, a associação adquiriu o terreno para a construção do clube, foi o primeiro passo para a realização do grande sonho dos associados.. . A partir daí, as coisas foram acontecendo. A instalação da caixa d'água, a terraplanagem para o campo de futebol, a construção da piscina, enfim, até chegar ao que é hoje foi uma longa jornada.. . Em janeiro de 1999 foi inaugurado o campo de futebol, foi a primeira etapa do que viria a ser um clube estruturado. Hoje já temos vinte churrasqueiras, piscina de adulto com toboágua, piscina infantil, sauna, parque de diversão, campo gramado, campo de areia, campo de futebol society, quadra de esportes, academia, ginástica de rua e muitos projetos em estudo.. . A ARCO é hoje, um grande patrimônio dos trabalhadores associados que acreditaram em um projeto que pudesse proporcionar aos trabalhadores dos Correios condições para a prática de atividades físicas, diversão e lazer.
