Detailed description is Rent a 3 bedroom cabin on the lake for your next vacation or hunting/fishing escape. Get away to this beautiful & peaceful lake nestled in the woods. Two story lake home for rent on beautiful and peaceful Richter Lake in Taylor County WI. Lake home is located on a prime location right on Richter Lake with great views right out your windows. The home is located within the Chequamegon National Forest offering many other outdoor recreational activities. It has 3 spacious bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. Upstairs bedrooms have a full sized bed in master bedroom and two twin beds in guest room. The other bedroom is located on the lower level and has a full sized bed. Lower level bath area has an antique claw foot bath tub and corner shower with a separate toilet and bidet room. Upper level has an additional 1/2 bath. Family room areas are on both levels and include 3 sleeper sofas for additional sleeping space. You will find the home fully furnished and enjoy using the full sized kitchen. Home also has a beautiful stone fireplace. There is a row boat and canoe included with the rental. Your own private dock to fish off of or just to enjoy the lake. . Clara's Cottage is located just 17 miles west of Medford and 14 miles from Gilman, in the Perkinstown area. There is a gas station and bar & grill less than 5 minutes away. Richter Lake is a 46 acre no wake lake nestled in the Chequamegon National Forest in Central Taylor County Wisconsin with a variety of fish, turtles, ducks, and a pair of loons. Bald Eagles are often seen circling the lake. Great area for deer, turkey, bear, grouse, pheasant, & other wild game hunting. There are many other lakes just a few miles away including Lake Kathryn, Lake Eska, Lake Esadore, Anderson Lake, Clear Lake, Miller Dam, Monduex Flowage, Lake Eleven, Hulls Lake, North Twinn, Sackett Lake, and Salem Lake. There is a ton of recreational activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiasts.. Things to do while at the lake home:. *Chequamegon National Forest – hunting, hiking, bird watching, horseback riding (Ice Age Trail), four wheeling trails, snowmobiling trails.. *Perkinstown Winter Sports Area just a few miles away. Has tubing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and an annual snowshoe race.. *Fishing, swimming, and boating in your own back yard or go to one of the other nearby lakes in the area.
