O prédio foi comprado em 2009 pelo IPHAN em estado precário de conservação.. . Construído em 1922 na Praça Teixeira de Freitas, por Cândido Massena Vaccarezza, intendente de Cachoeira na época. O Cineteatro Glória foi inspirado no clássico filme italiano “Cinema Paradiso” e um dos primeiros cinemas do País e do interior da Bahia.
