Detailed description is Life with Purpose On February 15, 2015 the Church 213 worship center, and everything in it, burned to the ground.
The Children's/student ministry center was rendered unusable by the same fire.
Only the Church office remained.
Yet Church 213 continued to meet, and worship thanks to the kindness of two local sister churches.
We did not miss one Sunday of worship experiences, and we continue to have our full complement of Wednesday Bible Study and prayer.

Then on May 31, the Church office (Which housed everything we had left after the fire, and much that had been donated) was robbed and vandalized.
All of the Church computers (six) were stolen, along with sound equipment, instruments, and more.
But apparently robbing the church was not enough.
They took the fire extinguisher and sprayed everything in the building, including my library, just to inflict damage.
It seems that the enemy wants to "...kill, steal and destroy..." this ministry.

Church 213 though presses on.
In spite of the fact that the Church is presently "Homeless," we are still growing (Five baptisms this past Sunday).
The membership of this Church Plant in Covington, Georgia, of the Stone Mountain Baptist Association, is now over 300.
More than two thirds of that membership is via salvation and baptism.
God is building a church! .

We are presently, anxiously trying to rebuild.
This though is not an expansion of our facilities; it is rebuilding so that we will no longer be homeless.
God has, throughout this tragedy, been incredible.
We have been given a never-erected steel building, and we are literally awaiting permits to begin the rebuild process.
And though the members and friends of Church 213 have been incredible, we lack the funds by about $100,000.00 to conclude the rebuild.
We are praying for God's provision, and we believe what His Word tells us in Philippians 1:6, that "...he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." .

Church 213 is a giving, loving church.
We do an annual mission trip to Zambia, Africa, where we minister at an orphanage, and provide a pastor's conference for about 150 pastors.
This has been an incredible ministry and has borne much fruit.
We also have an ongoing mission in the Dominican Republic, where we work with four churches, and are assisting in building a church building.
And though we are without a home, we continue to minister in our local community and around the area.
God is building a church, and this Church needs to have a home.
