She was born in Tuscaloosa and moved away with her family for a while during her school years, and moved back her senior year to finish high school at Tuscaloosa County High School, Class of '91.
Christy has two sons, Taylor, a 2011 graduate of TCHS, and Trey, a sophomore at Sipsey Valley High School.

From dressing herself and her friends up and taking pictures pretending they were modeling as children, to working in upscale boutiques as a teenager and then as a young women, Christy worked hard to obtain the knowledge and skill needed to own her own business, and to work in the fashion industry.
