Detailed description is We are a family owned & operated vineyard, winery & tasting room. We are open to the public 7 days a week, and available for weddings & events. In 1921, at the age of 25, Stephan Meichtry came to America from Switzerland with only a suit case and an adventure for life. He settled in Maspeth, Queens NY where he would later raise his two children and develop his passion for wine. He grew his first grapes on the roof of his house in Maspeth during the great depression. Stephan passed in 1990, leaving his love for life to his granddaughter Karin.
