She had the name picked out right from the start since Charley Brown was her childhood nickname given to her by her Grandmother and she figured Charley B’s had a better ring to it than Skinny Minnies. In 2004, Charllotte met Katelin Letkeman while working at a restaurant in Morden, MB. Since then, they have been great friends. The idea behind Charley B’s started as a dream and turned into something much bigger than imagined, and quickly. Charllotte and Katelin had been researching and testing to find out how to break into the community and stand out. This is where the “going local” came from. .
