Detailed description is LEARN TO FLY at a classical American "grass strip" cut into an upstate NY corn field at one of New York's oldest and still operating flying club founded in 1963.
Chapin Field is a Public Use Airport operated by the Cambridge Valley Flying Club which was organized in April 1963 to promote interest in general aviation, give instruction in flying and maintenance of aircraft, purchase necessary equipment for the use of members, and assist members with upgrading their pilot ratings.
