Centre Q offers for rent a 500 sq ft coaching studio for private sessions with choreographers and dancers involved with solos or duets and Studio Quio (under construction) will house a 600 square foot recording studio for electronic or acoustic music.. . Tedd Robinson, co-director of Centre Q, artistic director of 10 Gates Dancing, is known for his consulting skills, which he has honed over the past 20 years mentoring choreographers and running labs nationally and internationally. His approach draws on his 6 years of intensive study as a monk in the northern mountain order of hakukaze soto zen and his 20 year apprenticeship with Peter Boneham.. . Charles Quevillon is co-director of Centre Q and its resident composer.. Since 2005 he has developed a direct approach to musical expression through his electroacoustic and instrumental work. Now, he specializes in the composition of mixed music. His actual research concerns principally the composition/choreography of the musical performance.
