Our story began January 2009 when Chad and I went on our first date.
I vowed I would never marry a farmer and he owned a farm.
Flash forward to the present and here we are, married and officially starting to farm our own land.
Different from the standard chicken or livestock farms commonly seen around Lancaster County, we are growing flowers..
Cedar Hill Farm has been in Chad's family for over a century.
It has been transformed from a dairy, to a chicken, to a crop and now a flower farm.
The flower growing business is a bit of an experiment for us.
We have had a large vegetable garden for the past five years but have grown very few flowers.
In the fall of 2016 we decided to make one of my childhood dreams become a reality and start a Pick-Your-Own flower garden.
